Terms of Service

Summary

Last updated: November 4, 2026

These terms govern the use of Invoice Track, a desktop application that downloads electronic invoices (PDF and XML) from your Gmail messages and organizes them on your computer. By installing or using the application you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

In short: the application is provided as is, runs on your computer, classifies automatically but does not replace your review, and you are responsible for having authorization for the accounts you connect and for your accounting and tax obligations.

1. Who provides the application

Invoice Track is developed and maintained by Nolan Calderón, who is responsible for the application and its development. To contact the developer, get in touch with Nolan Calderón at nocalde28@gmail.com.

2. What Invoice Track is

Invoice Track searches the Gmail accounts you authorize for emails with electronic invoices, downloads their PDF and XML attachments, classifies them as purchases or sales, saves them in a folder on your computer, and can export copies of the original XML files. It is a support tool: it is not an accounting system and does not file returns or documents with any authority.

3. Permitted use

You may use the application for your own accounts or for third parties' accounts who have given you their authorization. You may not:

  • connect another person's account without their consent;
  • use the application for unlawful purposes or to harm other people or systems;
  • try to bypass or disable Google's security mechanisms, or use Google APIs in a way that breaches Google's terms;
  • copy, redistribute, sell or transfer the application without the developer's written permission.

4. Google accounts and consent

The connection with Gmail uses Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0): the application never learns your password. You are responsible for ensuring that the holder of each connected account has given consent, for example when you manage your clients' invoices. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Use of Google services is also governed by Google's terms.

5. Your data and privacy

The application processes everything locally on your computer and does not send your emails, attachments or credentials to the developer or to third parties. Details are in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Your emails and invoices remain yours: these terms do not take away any right you have over them.

6. Automatic results and your responsibility

  • The classification of documents (purchase, sale, ticket, responses and items for review) is automatic and may contain errors or not cover every case. You must review the results.
  • The application does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your filings, deadlines and document-retention obligations.
  • You are responsible for making backups of your invoices and for protecting your computer and your data folder.

7. Availability and third-party services

Invoice Track depends on Google services (sign-in and the Gmail API). Google may change, limit or revoke access, or require a new authorization, and the developer cannot prevent it. The application may stop working in whole or in part because of those changes, your Internet connection or operating-system updates.

8. No warranty and limitation of liability

The application is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty that it will run uninterrupted or error-free, or that it is fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or revenue, tax penalties or surcharges, or decisions made from the application's results. Nothing above excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual property

The application, its name and its logo belong to the developer. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it in accordance with these terms. You keep all rights over your emails, documents and invoices.

10. Changes and termination

The developer may modify the application or these terms. The current version is published at this address with its update date; if a change materially affects how your Google data is used, your authorization will be requested again. You may stop using the application at any time by uninstalling it and revoking your accounts' access. The developer may suspend or end the service if these terms are breached.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable where the developer resides, without prejudice to the rights the law grants the user as a consumer.
